- Types of information
2.1. Non-personal
Candidates and other guests can visit DVB IT-Consultancy
’s website without giving away their personal information.
This non-personally-identifying information is called a cookie which is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. When receiving this, DVB IT-Consultancy will ask you to fill in our “agreement GDPR candidates”. Only when completing this, DVB IT-Consultancy will store and process your data. We will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone.

If candidates contact us via email, phone or any type of social media, we may keep a record of that correspondence. When we store data beyond what is publicly available, we will inform the candidate that we will record this data and for which purpose. We do this again by sending the document and receiving the signed document “agreement GDPR candidates”.

Personal information of candidates will exclusively be used to a well-defined purpose: looking for adequate new steps in relation to the career planning of the candidate.

- Storage of information
The data that we collect from candidates are collected and stored on a cloud-based platform whose privacy policy is in line with the terms of GDPR. This platform is a secured server.
- Duration of storage of information
Candidates information will be stored for 10 years and deleted after this term.
- Disclosure of information
6.1. Within the company
We may disclose personal information to each employee and each contracted freelancer of DVB IT-Consultancy.
6.2. A third party
We may disclosure personal information to a third party, upon agreement of the candidate and for well-defined purposes agreed upon by the candidate by signing the document “agreement GDPR candidates”.

Candidates can exercise their right to prevent such processing by contacting us at info@dvbitconsultancy.be.

The candidate has the right to access information held about herself/himself. The candidate’s right of access can be exercised by contacting us under the information provided below.
7.4. Right of rectification
If a candidate detects errors or inconsistencies in the data we hold about him or her, he/she has the right to rectify this information. In some cases, we require the candidate to correct erroneous information for the purposes of providing the candidate with services related to their interactions with DVB IT-Consultancy and our website.
7.5. Right to erasure (also known as the right to be forgotten)
The candidate may ask us to delete personal data if the continued processing of those data is not justified.
7.6. Right to not be evaluated on the basis of automated processing (also known as profiling)
The candidate has the right not to be subject to profiling.
